Some things stay with you.
Growing up in Michigan, the Great Lakes weren't just a backdrop — they were a way of life. Crystal clear water stretching further than you could see. Summers spent swimming in Lake Michigan, hiking trails through the Upper Peninsula, and breathing in air that felt genuinely clean. There was a simplicity to it. A purity that felt natural, unforced, and real.
That feeling never left.
The problem with what's out there.
Years later, long hikes, and active days, the search for a hydration product that matched that same standard of clean came up empty. Every option on the shelf was loaded with artificial flavors, synthetic dyes, and ingredient lists that required a chemistry degree to decode. Products marketed as healthy that were anything but.
So we built it ourselves.
Great Lakes Hydration started with one simple question: why can't an electrolyte drink be as clean as the water we grew up swimming in? No artificial ingredients. No unnecessary fillers. Just the minerals your body actually needs, sourced as close to nature as possible, in a product that reflects where it came from.
